Mexican-American/Chicana Women

Twenty black and white photographs accompanied by descriptions in English and Spanish. Photos mount to display board.

Photo display containing rare photos of personalities and events of Mexican-American/Chicana women’s history. Gathered from archives and private collections throughout the nation, the images range from the early frontier days to the present. The photos depict notable individuals, and Mexican-American/Chicana women’s everyday lives.

Women and the Constitution

Sixteen captioned historical photographs and accompanying interpretive text. Photos mount to display board.

Exhibit featuring historical documents and photos illuminating women’s involvement issues related to the U.S. Constitution and amendments to it. The exhibit contains text of the 13th, 15th, 18th, and 19th Amendments, and the Equal Rights Amendment campaigns with which women were especially involved.

Women’s Suffrage Movement

Twenty-four black and white photographs captioned with historical information, and reproductions of two key historical documents. Photos mount to display board.

Photo exhibit documenting the 72-year effort undertaken by American women to win equal voting rights. Along with the images of individuals and events of the suffrage campaign, the exhibit contains reproductions of the "Declaration of Sentiments" (1848) and the "Protest Against the Unjust Interpretation of the Constitution" (1878). 

Outstanding Women in Mathematics and Science

Twenty-three photographs and half-page biographies. Photos mount to display board.

Photographic exhibit featuring short biographies of the many women who have made important contributions to the world of mathematics and science. The exhibit includes American women scientists and mathematicians from a wide variety of fields in a close-up on their lives and career.

A Gathering of Women: Arkansas Women 1930-2000

24 plastic images mount on 3 display panels that are 8 feet high by 10 feet wide.

Produced by the Public History Program at University of Arkansas at Little Rock, this exhibit chronicles the many and varied milestones achieved by women from all walks of life in Arkansas from 1930-2000.
